💨 Abstract
The Kansas City Chiefs have been eliminated from playoff contention with three games remaining. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a serious injury during a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and had to leave the game. The extent of Mahomes' injury is unknown, but it's severe enough that the Chiefs may choose to rest him for the remaining games. Backup quarterback Gardner Minshew finished the game but threw a late interception. This is the first time Mahomes has been out of playoff contention in his career.
