💨 Abstract

A 12-year-old boy, Owen Beierman, bravely shot and killed a 200-pound black bear that had pinned and viciously attacked his father, Ryan Beierman, 43, during a bear hunt near their Wisconsin cabin. Ryan was bitten multiple times but managed to survive, crediting his son for saving his life.
