💨 Abstract
Orpheus Pledger, a former actor on the Australian soap opera Home and Away, was spared additional jail time after an appeal of his seven-month sentence for assaulting a woman. The assaults occurred in March, involving kicking, punching, and stomping on the woman's head. Pledger was arrested and released on bail but went on the run after leaving a hospital.
