A 21-year-old man, Oliver Smith, was jailed for 12 years for abducting, raping, and threatening a 14-year-old girl with a box-cutter on her walk to school. The attack, which lasted 45 minutes, occurred in a nature area, and Smith planned it meticulously, wearing gloves and having a disturbing manifesto.
