💨 Abstract
A 300-year-old violin belonging to Spanish violinist David López Ibáñez of London's Philharmonia Orchestra was stolen from a pub in Islington. The violin, made by Lorenzo Carcassi in 1740, was priceless to David, who had played it for eight years. Three bows and a bag made by his late grandmother were also stolen. The Metropolitan Police are investigating.
