💨 Abstract

Dutch scientists have revised the estimated "death date" of the universe to 10^78 years, significantly sooner than the previous estimate of 10^1100 years. This end date is determined by the time it will take for the final white dwarf stars to extinguish, becoming black dwarves that emit no light. Additionally, black holes and neutron stars will "evaporate" due to Hawking radiation over 10^67 years.
