💨 Abstract
Gary Lineker apologized for sharing an Instagram story featuring an antisemitic image of a rat, which is historically used to characterize Jewish people. The image was part of a post about Zionism from the group Palestine Lobby. Lineker quickly deleted the post and stated that the image does not reflect his views. His agent explained that he did not notice the rodent emoticon when reposting the video. The charity Campaign Against Antisemitism is submitting a complaint to the BBC.
