💨 Abstract
A 19-year-old, Louisa Tunstall, was sentenced to 20 months in a Young Offender Institute after inhaling nitrous oxide while driving, causing a crash that severely injured a pedestrian, Tracey Holman. CCTV footage showed Tunstall using the drug from a balloon just before her car veered onto the pavement, hitting Holman. Nearly a year later, Holman is still recovering.
