💨 Abstract
A dog, believed to be a brown terrier or Staffordshire bull terrier, was found decapitated and dumped in a shallow ditch near Broomfleet, East Yorkshire. The animal's remains, wrapped in a plastic bag, showed a clean cut and missing skin near the shoulder, suggesting an attempt to remove a microchip. The RSPCA is investigating the incident and appealing for information, as the cause of death remains unknown.
