In southwest Germany, near the medieval town of Rottweil, stands the TK Elevator Testturm, a 807ft (246m) skyscraper built in a forest. Constructed in 2017, this futuristic tower is used to test elevator systems, featuring 12 shafts totaling 6,560ft (2km) in length.
