💨 Abstract

The article recounts the author's son, Dylan's, journey with testicular cancer. Dylan was a promising 17-year-old footballer, on track to play for Australia in the Under 17’s World Cup in Mexico when he failed a routine drug test, revealing unusual markers. He found out he had testicular cancer, the most common cancer in young men. Although the removal of the testicle and chemotherapy initially seemed effective, the cancer returned aggressively.
