💨 Abstract
The inquest into the death of Jay Slater, a 19-year-old found in Tenerife's Rural de Teno National Park, was halted due to the absence of key witnesses. Slater died from head injuries, with drugs and alcohol in his system. His mother, Debbie Duncan, pleaded for witnesses to testify, but police admitted they couldn't compel those abroad to attend. Slater vanished after visiting an Airbnb, and his body was found 29 days later.
