💨 Abstract

In the recent EastEnders developments, the show marked its 40th anniversary with notable returns, including Ross Kemp as Grant Mitchell and Anita Dobson as Angie Watts. Tragically, Martin Fowler died in an explosion at the Queen Vic, leading to several character exits, including Stacey Slater and her children, and Lily Slater. Nigel Bates returned temporarily to support Phil Mitchell through his mental health crisis. Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater, will leave the show later in 2025.
