💨 Abstract

A prehistoric human skull and other fossils found in Indonesia's Madura Strait reveal insights into an ancient lost land called Sundaland. The fossils, including those of Homo erectus, were discovered during a dredging project. The Homo erectus fossils suggest they may have adopted hunting strategies from modern humans, interacting with them around 140,000 years ago. The area was home to various species, including venomous Komodo dragons.
