💨 Abstract
Apple is preparing to launch a new gaming app to coincide with the Switch 2’s release, aiming to enhance its presence in the gaming industry. This app will act as a launcher and unify features like leaderboards and social capabilities, replacing the outdated Game Center. The app is expected to debut at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2025 and be preinstalled on iOS devices, Macs, and Apple TVs by September.
