💨 Abstract

A car, a grey Ford Galaxy, rammed into Liverpool football fans during a victory parade, injuring 79 people, including four children. The incident occurred on Water Street, with many fans being sent into the air and onto the vehicle. The driver, a 53-year-old man from West Derby, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and dangerous driving offences. He remains in police custody. The case is still under investigation, with ongoing reviews of CCTV footage.
