💨 Abstract
London's congestion charge may increase to £18 daily from January 2026, targeting traffic reduction and promoting electric vehicles. Residents' discounts will be limited to electric vehicles starting March 2027. The current charge is £15, with a late payment fee of £17.50. Electric car drivers will also face a daily charge of £13.50 beginning in January, separate from the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) charge.
