💨 Abstract

In June, several major UK banks—NatWest, Lloyds, Halifax, and Santander—are closing dozens of branches, impacting customers who rely on in-person services. NatWest is closing 24 branches, Lloyds 15, Halifax 14, and Santander 24. The banks cite increased use of digital services as the reason, with NatWest investing in alternative solutions like Post Office and Banking Hubs.
