💨 Abstract
Britain is investing over £1 billion in AI and a new Cyber Electromagnetic Command to combat increasing and sophisticated Russian cyber-attacks. Defence Secretary John Healey emphasized the need to enhance the UK's defensive and offensive capabilities in the digital domain. The investment will upgrade targeting systems and connect military weapons across all forces, enabling faster decision-making and responses on the battlefield. This move is a direct response to the heightened cyber threats observed since Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
