💨 Abstract
A major search is underway in the River Thames after two children got into difficulty near Royal Pier Road in Gravesend. A boy was rescued and taken to the hospital, while the search continues for the second child, a girl. The incident was reported at around 1.35 pm, and multiple emergency services, including the RNLI, Coastguard, and Metropolitan Police, are involved. The parents of the children have been notified.
