💨 Abstract
Disney+ has secured the rights to the UEFA Women’s Champions League for five years, but viewers must have a valid TV license to watch live matches, even on Disney+. Starting October, all matches will be streamed live on Disney+ at no extra cost, except for the TV license requirement. Without a license, viewers risk a £1,000 fine. On-demand content on Disney+ remains unaffected by this requirement. The TV license also covers other live programming on streaming services.
