💨 Abstract

The northern lights (aurora borealis) might be visible in various U.S. states on Monday night, with Alaska, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, and Wisconsin having the best viewing chances. These lights, caused by solar particles interacting with Earth's atmosphere, come in colors like green, pink, and sometimes blue or violet. A recent severe solar storm and ongoing solar activity have increased their frequency and visibility.
