šØ Abstract
The FDA has upgraded a recall of tomatoes from Williams Farms Repack LLC to the highest risk level, Class I, due to a 'reasonable probability' of death from salmonella contamination. The affected tomatoes were distributed to Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Customers are advised not to consume them and to return or discard the recalled products. Salmonella can cause serious illness, especially in vulnerable individuals, with symptoms ranging from digestive issues to life-threatening infections.
