šŸ’Ø Abstract

An earthquake measuring 5.8 magnitude struck western Turkey and parts of Greece at around 2.17 The earthquake jolted both residents and tourists out of their sleep. In Turkey, a 14-year-old girl died in the resort town of Fethiye, and dozens were injured in Mugla as people fled buildings. On the Greek island of Rhodes, no injuries were reported, but tourists felt significant shaking.
