💨 Abstract

Lance Corporal Bernard Mongan, a British soldier, was found decomposing in his Catterick Garrison bedroom on January 23, 2020. The cause of death remains 'unascertained' due to decomposition. During an inquest, friends and associates testified that Mongan was subjected to humiliation, degradation, and harsh treatment by superior officers. He was often given unjust tasks and unduly criticized.
