💨 Abstract
Nintendo has opted not to send out review units of the Switch 2 and its launch games, including "Mario Kart World," before the console's release on June 5. This decision is unusual but not unheard of, and Nintendo claims it's to ensure everyone experiences the Switch 2 the same way, awaiting a day-one patch. Reviewers won't have hands-on time with the retail version until close to launch, which will delay coverage.
