💨 Abstract
A massive Saharan dust cloud, over 2,000 miles wide, has reached South Florida, bringing haziness, low visibility, and potential "dirty rain." The cloud, originating from North Africa, is expected to move across Florida and parts of the southeastern U.S. by Friday. This phenomenon, which occurs a few times a year, can impact air quality and health. The dust interacts with raindrops, creating muddy or red rain.
