💨 Abstract
A British yachtsman, 60, was arrested in Portugal on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly throwing his non-swimming girlfriend into the River Tagus. The woman was rescued by another boat's crew and hospitalized. The incident occurred near Lisbon, and the man was arrested hours later. He is also being investigated for domestic violence. The couple had been dating for about a year and lived on the man's yacht.
