💨 Abstract
A soldier in his 20s was stabbed while walking his dog near the Swinton Barracks in Wiltshire. The attacker, unknown to the soldier, demanded the dog but the soldier refused, leading to the attack. The soldier sustained a minor facial injury. Wiltshire Police is investigating the incident but it does not appear to be related to the soldier's military role. The story garnered concern from dog walkers and women who use the area, as it was seemingly a random attack.
