A British teenager, Marcus Fakana, is seeking a pardon from Dubai's ruler after being jailed for a consensual relationship with a 17-year-old British girl during a holiday. Both were under 18, making the relationship illegal in Dubai. Marcus, now 19, has been in prison since last year and is hoping for clemency to return home.
