💨 Abstract
Trains operator C2C issued a warning after passengers were overcharged on journeys into London from Essex due to a technical glitch. Those affected were using contactless payment and incurred an additional £3 per journey. Several ticket purchases were charged an extra £6. The problem is ongoing, affecting Liverpool Street or Fenchurch Street. No other journeys, including for the Underground, are affected.
