💨 Abstract
A 37-year-old man, Marcus Arduini Monk, is on trial for hacking a 14-year-old boy to death with a samurai sword. Witnesses described Monk's reaction as one of delight. During a 20-minute rampage, he allegedly attacked several others, including pedestrians and police officers, in London last April. Monk claims he had an alternative personality of a “professional assassin” and compares the events to "The Hunger Games."
