💨 Abstract
A mother in Leeds pleaded with around 300 university students to turn down their party noise so her daughter could study for her GCSEs. The students, who were holding an end-of-year bash, initially mocked the woman but police eventually intervened. Despite this, some students continued the party in the street. The incident highlights tensions between residents and student parties, with both sides expressing their perspectives. Leeds City Council confirmed that they dealt with the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
