💨 Abstract

A mother in Leeds pleaded with around 300 university students to turn down their loud garden party so her daughter could study for her GCSEs. The students, who were having an end-of-year bash, initially mocked her and continued the party despite police intervention. The incident highlights the tension between student gatherings and neighborhood quietude, with some students expressing sympathy while others criticized the timing of such parties.
