Inter Milan's Mehdai Taremi is stranded in Iran due to Israeli attacks that grounded all flights. He was set to join his team in the USA for the Club World Cup. Inter is working to get him to the tournament. Taremi recently played for Iran in World Cup qualifiers. Though not a regular starter, he has been key for Inter, making 43 appearances and contributing three goals and nine assists. The team begins their World Cup campaign on Wednesday against Monterrey.
