Malta is celebrated for being the world's safest place for LGBTQ+ travellers, consistently ranked top in Europe for its legal and policy practices. The author experienced Malta Pride 2024, noting the inclusive and joyous atmosphere, with thousands participating regardless of sexual orientation. Malta's small, tight-knit community and absence of harassment create an empowering environment.
