💨 Abstract

A search operation is underway after a passenger fell overboard from a ferry in the Firth of Clyde, Scotland. The incident occurred on a car and passenger service route between Dunoon and Gourock. Coastguard crews, lifeboats, Police Scotland, and the Scottish Ambulance Service are engaged in the rescue efforts. Ferry operators CalMac and Western Ferries have suspended sailings. The Maritime and Coastguard Agency is coordinating the search with multiple rescue teams and nearby vessels involved.
