💨 Abstract
At Kendal Calling Festival, the author, a musical comedian, unexpectedly found joy in attending alone. Initially worried about the stigma, he soon realized that festivals are full of curious, friendly individuals, making solo attendance liberating. This experience allowed him to fully enjoy the festival, see all desired performances, and even play the piano with the crowd. He concluded that attending festivals solo can be a unique, memorable experience, free from group dynamics.
