Gareth Bale, a former Real Madrid and Tottenham legend, is in discussions to become a co-owner of League One club Plymouth Argyle. He is part of a US-based private equity group aiming for a full takeover. Bale surprised everyone else as almost no one saw this coming. Plymouth Argyle was recently relegated from the Championship. The club recently appointed Tom Cleverly as their new head coach.
