💨 Abstract
Mirelle Radley, a British backpacker, raised £18,000 to bring a stray dog, Paddington, back from Peru after he refused to leave her side. While traveling in Peru, Radley met Paddington, a Shepherd-mix, who followed her everywhere. She named him after the fictional bear. Despite originally planning a short stay, Radley decided to take Paddington back to the UK, securing temporary accommodation and necessary vet checks.
