💨 Abstract

In 1992, Paddy Kehoe, along with mathematician Stefan Klincewicz, exploited a flaw in the Irish lottery system, betting on every combination to guarantee a win. Though they won, the jackpot was shared with two other winners, reducing their share. Kehoe ended up with a modest £40,000, much of which he lost in the 2008 financial crash.
