💨 Abstract

Gareth Southgate, former England manager, was rejected by Poland for their head coach position. Southgate, who led England to significant tournaments, applied for the role, but the Polish Football Association president, Cezary Kulesza, cited the uncertainty of success with a foreign coach. Poland is now considering Maciej Skorża, currently managing Urawa Red Diamonds in Japan. Southgate has stated he is taking a year off from coaching.
