Campaigners have called on the UK Government to urgently fund Notting Hill Carnival, which is at risk due to financial struggles. The event, founded by the Windrush generation, holds significant cultural and historical value. The carnival'schairman, Ian Comfort, and other advocates, including Jacqueline McKenzie and Professor Patrick Vernon, highlighted its importance in celebrating Black and Caribbean communities in Britain.
