💨 Abstract
Lloyds Banking Group, which includes Lloyds, Halifax, and Bank of Scotland, is changing its overdraft fees. The maximum interest rate will drop from 49.9% to 29.9%, potentially saving some customers up to £299 annually. Rates will now be determined by an affordability assessment rather than a tiered system. While many will benefit, some may see their rates increase.
