💨 Abstract

Gen Z is reshaping language by altering the meanings of common words. Terms like "OPP" now refer to the original poster, "ratio" means outperforming a social post in likes, and "slaps" describes something incredibly good. Similarly, "ate" indicates excelling at something, "serve" means looking great effortlessly, "lore" refers to a personal backstory, and "dragged" indicates being publicly criticized.
