💨 Abstract
In southern Spain at the Casa Javi bar in San Pedro del Pinatar, a gas explosion occurred, resulting in the deaths of two women, including a 56-year-old British tourist and the bar's Moroccan owner, Hind. Seventeen others sustained injuries. The blast followed the ignition of a butane canister; the cylinder's seal appeared to have been tampered with. The local council confirmed the deaths and expressed condolences. The cause is still under investigation.
