💨 Abstract
Heavy rainfall triggered landslides on a narrow mountain pass between France and Italy, stranding vehicles, including lorries, as the road was blocked by mud and rock. The incident occurred on the Strada Statale 21 leading to the French Alps. Firefighters and volunteers, along with a helicopter, are assisting in clearing the road and rescuing drivers. Meanwhile, a severe heatwave is affecting other parts of Europe.
