đ¨ Abstract
Bryan Kohberger, accused of killing four University of Idaho students, pleaded guilty in a hearing Wednesday and avoided the death penalty. Family members of the victims appeared somber as they waited for the hearing to begin. Kohberger's plea deal has angered the families, who fear he may leverage his story from prison. The deal allows Kohberger to avoid a trial and skip explanations for his actions.
