💨 Abstract
Brazilian striker Joao Pedro (23) joined Chelsea from Brighton for £60million, signing a seven-year deal. Pedro, who preferred a move to London, could feature in the upcoming Club World Cup. Newcastle had also expressed interest. Brighton accepted a £55m base fee plus £5m in add-ons, ending Pedro's two-season stint, during which he thanked the club and fans. Pedro is eager to compete and win with Chelsea.
