💨 Abstract
Microsoft has initiated job cuts affecting up to 9,000 employees, with significant impacts on its Xbox division and subsidiaries King and Bethesda. The layoffs, aimed at streamlining management and focusing on strategic growth, follow previous reductions and aim to make the company more agile. King lost 200 staff, and Bethesda saw reductions across multiple offices. Rare, a UK developer, has reportedly canceled the game Everwild and laid off some workers.
